WINNING NAP WEDNESDAY: SHAMROCK landed a winning nap on Wednesday when his only bet Flag Of Honour WON 4/6 at Naas. He heads to Tramore on Thursday.
Flag Of Honour ran out a very cosy winner of the last race at Naas yesterday to land the nap at 4/6.
The Aidan O’Brien trained runner came on bundles for his debut (also at Naas) and only had to be pushed out hands and heels to win by four and a half lengths.
Jumping at Tramore today with a seven race card on expected soft ground.
The opening maiden hurdle at 2.05 certainly won’t take much winning – it looks a very moderate contest.
Tony Martin saddles two Toor General and outsider Bard Of Armagh and JP has a runner with Wait Here but all three of those have shown modest form so the market will be the best guide.
On the form that is available Praynodecline looks best. She did show some ability in bumpers and didn’t run badly over a longer trip on her hurdling debut at Gowran Park when fifth. The form doesn’t amount to much but it says a lot about this race that it might well be more than good enough.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Praynodecline (2.05 Tramore)
