SHAMROCK landed his second winning NAP of the week yesterday. SLIPPER ORCHID (NAP) WON AT 5/2 after ABUSHAMAH (NAP) WON 100/30 on Monday. Two winning NAPS from only three bets so far this week – both at decent prices.

Delighted with the win of the NAP SLIPPER ORCHID who held on well to win by a neck at Fairyhouse last night.

Not a bad start to the week:

Mon: ABUSHAMAH (NAP) WON 100/30
Tues: LITTLE ROCKY (NAP) 3rd
Weds: SLIPPER ORCHID (NAP) WON 5/2

There’s a really good card at Leopardstown this evening – and the timing is perfect for football fans too. The last race is at 8.50pm with Brazil and Croatia kicking off the World Cup at 9pm !!

Don’t forget BETDAQ’s great offers for the duration of the World Cup:

0% on ALL Multiples (across all sports!!) while the World Cup is on
0% Commission on all Correct Score Markets
0% Commission on all matches that finish Nil-Nil

There’s a Listed and Group race on the card at Leoardstown this evening:

7:20 Glencairn Stakes (Listed) (3yo+, Class 1, 1m, 8 runners)

At first glance this looks quite tough to solve with most of the runners not in the best of form. Along Came Casey is a warm favourite on BETDAQ (1.98 at the time of writing). She has lengthy absence to overcome which I don’t think will be a problem as she won this race first time out last season (easily) and hails from Dermot Weld’s in-form yard but she does have a few questions to answer after a disappointing effort last time out in September when last of seven at odds-on in a Group 3 race at the Curragh. At similar odds, I can back Pearl Of Africa on the BETDAQ place market and have three chances of a return and this is my preferred option. She has been running well, without success, at Group level in four races and should appreciate the drop back to Listed company. The last time she ran in Listed company she was a winner at Dundalk.

7:50 Ballyogan Stakes (Fillies’ Group 3) (3yo+, Class 1, 6f, 8 runners)

UK based trainers have a good record in this event and that can continue with the Lady Cecil trained Joyeuse who can win her first Group race. She won a Listed race at Haydock last time out in good style (and should again account for Gathering Power who was second). The Haydock win came on soft ground but she seems very versatile ground wise.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Pearl of Africa (IN THE PLACE MARKET) (7.20 Leopardstown)
NEXT BEST: Joyeuse (7.50 Leopardstown)
