BALLINROBE NAP FOR SHAMROCK: His best bet of the day was trading at around 4.8 on BETDAQ at lunchtime.
It looks a tough punting card at Ballinrobe this afternoon.
I’ll take a chance with the consistent Konig Hall in the handicap hurdle at 2.45. He hasn’t finished outside the top four in his last five starts, including a decent three quarters of a length second to Magnetic Force at Cork last time out.
He has winning form here at Ballinrobe on soft ground and thoroughly deserves a win.
Tornado Watch was well backed before winning easily at Downpatrick last time out but the resulting 12lb hike in the weights tempers enthusiasm about a follow-up win.
In an open race, Mic Milano might prove the biggest danger.
