BALLINROBE TUESDAY NAP: SHAMROCK looks ahead to this evening’s Ballinrobe card over jumps with a NAP in the opening maiden hurdle at 5.40pm.
We’re not going to get rich tonight but Road To Dubai very much looks the nap on the Ballinrobe card.
The six-year-old won four races on the flat when trained by George Scott and made a very satisfactory debut at Cork when fourth to Fakir D’Oudairies in what looked a well above average maiden. The winner went on to finish fourth in the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival and then record good second placed efforts in Grade 1’s at both Aintree and Punchestown.
This is a really modest event – only the Noel Meade trained In Your Shadow stands out as any kind of danger. He showed a modicum of promise at Down Royal in January.
