JUMPING AT BALLINROBE: SHAMROCK heads to the jumps card at Ballinrobe where his best bet runs in the beginners chase at 7.05pm. He takes a chance on a horse who is 0/18 so far.
Crowded Room has been doing much of his racing recently at Navan and is overdue a success.
He is 0/18 in all spheres, so not the most natural nap of the day but he has been running well in handicap company of late and this represents a drop in class. The addition of blinkers for the first time and the change of scenery might just be enough to persuade him to passing the post first!
He has finished second in his last two runs, both times to Knock Beauty and a feature of his jumping is that it is very reliable.
That’s not the case in this type of race where several of his rivals are much more inxperienced over the larger obstacles and indeed three of them were fallers last time out – including BETDAQ market leader Mr Cosmpolitan who got no further than the fourth in one of the Navan races where the selection finished second.
Crowded Room is trading around 7 on BETDAQ which represents good value.
