Back to the jumps tonight for the card at Ballinrobe but I’m staying on the flat – or at least the bumper which concludes the card at 8.20pm.
Gleeson Tipp can put his experience to good use and make it third time lucky.
He was a good second over hurdles at Fairyhouse on debut and was then beaten at odds-on at Wexford in a bumper. He only went down by a head having travelled well in the race and wasn’t unduly punished in the closing stages.
He looks to be still learning about the game and can prove too strong for rivals including the Joseph O’Brien trained debutant Gabriel Archer.
