FOLLOWING LOGICICAL APPROACH AT CLONMEL: Racing in Ireland on Tuesday at Clonmel and SHAMROCK’S NAP of the day runs in the 3.30.
Logical Song looks the answer to this afternoon’s Slievenamon Beginners Chase at Clonmel – the 3.30pm on the seven race card.
Trained by Mag Mullins, Logical Song unseated on his chasing debut in 2015 and has been kept mainly to hurdles since then with some consistent efforts.
He did run a great race here back over fences in February when a half length second to Goulane Davina. He made a bad mistake at the fourth that day and did well to get competitive again. He should find this slightly longer trip and easier ground to his advantage.
The Adrian Maguire trained Knockraha Boss is also running consistently well and is another stepping back in trip.
He was a fair second at Thurles last time out but made a few mistakes during the run.
The Tony Martin trained No Dice was still in the lead before falling four out at Down Royal and is another with a big question mark next to him re: jumping skills.
