CLEAR SKIES AHEAD: Two meetings in Ireland on Tuesday, Tipperary and Dundalk. SHAMROCK’s best bet of the day runs in the 7.25pm at Dundalk.
The Aidan O’Brien trained Clear Skies looks the answer to the 1m 2f maiden on tonight’s card at Dundalk.
The filly ran a good race in April on her reappearance after a lengthy absence to finish second to Kalopsia at Tipperary.
She has plenty of class too, as she showed when finishing second to Alice Springs in a valuable sales race at Newmarket in 2015 and now needs a win on her CV as a 500,000gns full-sister to Motivator before presumably heading to the paddocks.
Aidan O’Brien has been very patient and she should really outclass her rivals here.
The Dermot Weld trained Muniza has yet to try the all-weather but is certainly no world beater and was well beaten in the mud at Galway last time out.
The Jessica Harrington trained Spring Garden might be the bigger danger after some good placed efforts but again is an unknown quantity on the all-weather.
