NOW FOR NAP NUMBER FIVE: SHAMROCK bids for his fifth winning nap in a row on Tuesday and heads to the flat card at Fairyhouse.

The nap was landed with A Greater Force who won well (in the end) yesterday but trading quite big in running on BETDAQ.

Not a big price again but the naps sequence now extends to four winners in a row:

Fri: Afonso De Sousa (NAP) WON 4/5
Sat: Tom’s Article (NAP) WON 11/8
Sun: Ol’ Man River (NAP) WON 1/2
Mon: A Greater Force (NAP) WON 4/6

There are two very short priced favourites on the Fairyhouse card today and they are tempters to keep the run going.

General Marshall is around 1.4 for the opening maiden but Aidan O’Brien’s runner has twice been beaten at odds on and is not one to lump on, even in a maiden that looks, on paper, quite moderate.

Equally, I wasn’t sure that Katimavik should be as short as around 1.6 for the maiden at 3.55. He ran well enough on debut at Listowel and the Dermot Weld trained runner should improve enough to land this weak looking event. Hopefully we will see a little drift but on a tough day to extend the sequence he gets the nap vote.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Katimavik (3.55 Fairyhouse)
