FAIRYHOUSE NAP: SHAMROCK’S Tuesday NAP runs in the mares maiden hurdle at 2.20pm.
Andy Dufresne landed the latest SHAMROCK NAP but it was mighty hard work for him to peg back the front running Captain Guinness who arguably emerged the better prospect after the Moscow Flyer at Punchestown on Sunday. Both look great prospects for Cheltenham and if the ground is better than it was on Sunday that should favour Andy Dufresne.
Today’s rescheduled Fairyhouse card needed an inspection this morning but was given the green light and they race on predictably heavy ground.
Gale At Sea impressed on her point debut at Toomebridge when winning by six lengths on testing ground and is taken to make a winning debut under Rules in the maiden hurdle at 2.20pm.
It doesn’t look a tough contest – Noel Meade’s Champagne Diva probably brings the best form to the table after her efforts at Galway and Limerick.
Moyode Gold only got as far as the second before falling here on her jumps debut and is hard to assess although has reasonable bumper form.
