Ontheropes is something that I hope we won’t be reduced to in 2019 but the Willie Mullins trained runner looks the answer to today’s concluding bumper at Fairyhouse.
He exchanged hands for £240,000 at the Cheltenham Sales in March after being beaten just a head on his point to point debut and this doesn’t look the toughest of introductions.
Castle Oliver was beaten 19 lengths on his hurdling debut at Punchestown and is now tried without the obstacles in the way whilst the Gordon Elliott trained Multifactorial only looked average when beaten into second in a Down Royal bumper in November.
