GALWAY WEDNESDAY NAP: SHAMROCK’s NAP on Wednesday runs in the 7.15 at Galway.
The Tooth Fairy hasn’t been very generous so far to backers but she is surely worth another chance in the concluding maiden on the Galway card tonight.
Trained by Aidan O’Brien, she is now eight starts without success and went closest to a first win last time out at Killarney when appearing to relish the softer ground that she tackles again tonight.
She only went down by a neck and pulled well clear of the field. A reproduction of that form could easily be good enough in tonight’s race which looks weaker.
Angel Fish, trained by Joseph O’Brien, looks the obvious danger after improving significantly on her debut effort when finishing fourth at Roscommon last time out.
There’s been plenty of support for the JP owned debutant Future Romance and a big run is clearly expected first time up.
