EIGHT RACES AT KILLARNEY: Flat action from Killarney on Tuesday with SHAMROCK’s best bet of the night running in the 5.50 – but it’s a LAY NAP.
It was hard not to be impressed by 17 length Sligo winner Erysimum but I’m not too enthusiastic about backing her to follow up tonight at Killarney.
Key reasons:
(1) It looked a very poor race at Sligo
(2) She gets a penalty for the win
(3) It was on heavy ground – tonight is GOOD
(4) Dermot Weld has an interesting debutant in the shape of Cape Cross filly Baliyka
Gilded Reflection also looks a live danger to Erysimum. She was a good second to Juliette Fair at Leopardstown last season and the winner went on to finish second in a Listed race.
All in all it has to be a LAY of Erysimum in the 5.50pm.
