TIPPERARY JUMPS CARD: Irish racing resumes at Tipperary on Tuesday with a seven race jumps card as SHAMROCK bids for another winning nap.
I wish I could avail myself of some of the 2/1 forecast about Morning Run in the opener at Tipperary by an organisation I will spare the blushes of.
I’m not saying that betting forecasts are easy, they’re not, but even allowing for that – this 2/1 is a howler. I can only be kind and say they got the 2 and the 1 transposed.
The reality is that Willie Mullins unbeaten runner is trading even shorter than 1/2 – currently 1.33 on BETDAQ.
The mare has looked good in winning all three of her bumper starts and tactics have ranged from being held up to making the running with the same end result.
The opposition really doesn’t look strong and she should record a first hurdling success.
The quality doesn’t look too strong in the 2.55 either but I think Sir Abbot looks a little short in the market at around 2.34. He races under a penalty and was a disappointing beaten favourite at Killarney last time when soundly beaten into sixth.
I’ll take a chance on impressive Kinsale bumper winner Siobhans Beauty being good enough for a winning start under Rules.
