Almanaara looks just the fella for the job at Tipperary tonight. The Dermot Weld trained grey went closest yet to a first win with a short head second to Haqeeba last time out at Naas.
He was staying on really well at the end of the six furlongs suggesting the extra trip will help tonight, as hopefully will the application of first time blinkers.
Biggest danger is likely to come from Military Hill who chased home Seville Star at Leopardstown last time. Although beaten five lengths into second it was still a good run and this doesn’t look too strong a contest.
