NAVAN TUESDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Navan on Tuesday for his NAP in the final race on the card at 4.40pm.
It’s not often a veterans handicap chase throws up the best bet of the day but that’s the case today at Navan with Wishmoor in the 4.40pm.
The co-youngest in the field, at ten, Wishmoor deserves a win having put in good rounds at Catterick and especially over course and distance last time out when second to Se Mo Laoch.
With the same heavy ground here he should take plenty of beating in this company and on just his third start for Johnny Levins.
Top weight Mick The Jiver heads the weights and the market at the time of writing and he was far from disgraced when 7th in the Thyestes but disappointing next time out at Punchestown when a beaten favourite.~
