SHAMROCK BACK AT ROSCOMMON: For their jumps card tonight. His nap finished second at 4/1 yesterday.
Yesterday’s NAP, Altesse, finished second at 4/1 in the Lenebane Stakes at Roscommon.
Irish action on Tuesday is again from Roscommon but this time on the jumps track.
The Gordon Elliott trained Cecil Corbett could easily be the best bet of the night in the Martinstown Opportunity Maiden Hurdle at 6.30pm.
He was only headed on the line when beaten a nose over this 2m 4f trip at Gowran Park last time out but travelled really well during the race and should be able to go one better in this company.
Deputy’s Pass is the obvious danger. He is on a run of three seconds (including two bumpers) and is just proving a little one-paced in the closing stages of his races.
