SLIGO NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Sligo for his nap on Tuesday running in the 6.30 race.
Magnification only beat one home at Leopardstown last time out but the chances are that the opposition was a lot stiffer than he’ll face in the 6.30 at Sligo tonight.
The Kevin Condon trained runner ran out of steam close home in the race won by Currency Converter. The third in that race, Eagle Spirit, has reappeared subsequently to win at Leopardstown.
Magnification had shown plenty on his two previous starts too, finishing second at both the Curragh on debut and then at Navan with the form working out very well indeed.
Sir Dreamalot is upped in trip having finished fourth in both starts to date over five furlongs. Judged by his effort at Down Royal last time out I’m not altogether certain this seven furlongs tonight will be ideal.
The same comments apply really to Navan third Youarewonder.
