GROUND THE KEY AT WEXFORD: Drying ground at Wexford and SHAMROCK takes this into account when napping Teoleena in the maiden hurdle at 2.55.
Watering has taken place at Wexford and for once we’re not talking about the rain !!
The forecast ground for this afternoon’s meeting is good and that is a huge factor.
I think Teoleena might be the one for the maiden hurdle at 2.55. She is lightly raced over jumps but has got winning form on the flat on faster ground. She also ran really well over jumps two starts ago when a 66/1 third in a big field Leopardstown mares maiden hurdle race.
Principal danger is Cest Notre Gris but this one has next to no form on good ground so is something of an unknown quantity. That’s not to say he won’t handle it of course but at BETDAQ odds of 2.86 do you really want to be taking such a chance?
