The Gordon Elliott trained runner has finished runner-up in both of his starts so far.
He was a well beaten second at Thurles on debut when trained by Willie Mullins and has since joined the Elliott stable and ran well at Fairyhouse when chasing home The West’s Awake in what looked a better race than todays.
Guitar George seems to be found lacking in the closing stages of a two mile trip so I can’t see the extra two furlong trip on softer ground suiting him too well. However, he still rates the danger.
