ANOTHER WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK followed up his 6/1 WINNING NAP on Monday with THE GATECHECKER (NAP) WON EVENS on Tuesday. Again, it was his only bet of the day and he is now 12 winning NAPS from last 19.
The naps run continued yesterday – but only just….
My NAP and only bet of the day THE GATECHECKER scrambled home by a short head to win at evens and follow on from MR BOSS MAN (NAP) WON 6/1 on Monday.

Gowran Park stage an evening card tonight and are racing on good to firm ground.
Not too sure I want to be in a queue to back Sir Isaac Newton at odds-on in the opener. The Aidan O’Brien trained runner has already been beaten twice at odds-on in both his starts including at 1/6 at Chester last time out. Valac will be no pushover here and Isaac Newton is, as yet, unproven on the firmer surface.
Some promising fillies line up for the Ladies Day June 20th Fillies Race over seven furlongs at 6.20.
The ground is an unknown quantity for all five of them but I can’t get away from how impressive Roca Rojo was on debut at Killarney when storming home by seven and a half lengths. She ran green that day too so surely can only improve for the experience
Shahzeena failed to cope with the step up to Group level last time but wasn’t completely disgraced and looks best of the remainder.
