Very good midweek card at Punchestown including the Listed Smart Money’s On Coral Quevega Mares Hurdle at 2.40pm.
It’s a race that Willie Mullins dominates and it should be business as normal as his star mare Laurina struts her stuff around the two and half miles.
If you are looking for any weaknesses in the long odds-on shot, they are hard to find on the form book but this will be the quickest ground she has ever raced on and represents a much tougher task than last time at Sandown when she had a solitary rival to beat.
Fingers crossed all goes well for her and it will be next stop Champion Hurdle.
She’s a short price – one Euro buys you 30 cents at the time of writing but I have a naps sequence to try and extend and that winning run has included a 6/1 winning nap so not too shabby !
