FAIRYHOUSE THURSDAY NAP: SHAMROCK looks to the maiden at Fairyhouse tonight for his NAP bet of the day.
A bitterly disappointing run from the nap yesterday I’m afraid.
At Fairyhouse tonight there looks to be some value with Time To Reason against the favourite Flowerhill Nova in the seven furlong maiden at 5.50pm.
Time To Reason, trained by Jonny Murtagh, has run well on all three of his starts which have all come over tonight’s trip.
He was soundly beaten into second by Midnight Crossing at Leopardstown last time out but it was still a good effort in a 16 runner field which looked more competitive than tonight.
Flowerhill Nova remains a maiden after eight starts but has some solid place efforts to his name.
He tries the seven furlong trip for the first time tonight and there was certainly evidence at Leopardstown last time out that the increase should help but he is starting to look quite exposed.
