GOWRAN PARK WEDNESDAY NAP: Irish racing resumes with SHAMROCK on a run of 6 WINNING NAPS FROM THE LAST 8.
Monday’s NAP Global Freedom finished 2nd at 5/2 – we managed to get the odds-on favourite beat but were thwarted by a 22/1 winner.
Sun: Ilikedwayurthinkin (NAP) WON 4/5
Mon: Celtic Beauty (NAP) WON EVENS
Tue: Ificudiwud (NAP) WON 6/4
Wed: Kastasa (NAP) WON 11/4
Thu: Quote (NAP) WON 11/10
Fri: Siskin (NAP) WON 10/11
Sat: Guiri (NAP) LOST
Sun: Justifier (NAP) WON 6/4
Mon: Global Freedom (NAP) 2nd
The show moves on to Gowran Park on Wednesday for an evening flat card featuring the Listed Hurry Harriet Stakes for fillies and mares.
Who’s Steph has been a good friend to the column and should again take plenty of beating here.
She’s back after a break and again gets the give in the ground she likes. She only had to be pushed out by hands and heels to win a Group 3 race at Cork last time out – the runner-up Peach Tree has won a Group 3 race of her own subsequently and the form looks solid.
Luxuriant did nothing wrong when winning on debut and can only improve, whilst Camphor is in tremendous form but I just have a small doubt as to whether the drop back in trip will be ideal.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
