LIMERICK THURSDAY: Is the latest weather casualty with the card cancelled due to the track being partially waterlogged.
More gloomy news on the weather front this morning.
Tomorrow’s card at Limerick has been called off due to waterlogging and patches of false ground.
Officials assessed conditions at the venue on Wednesday morning but were forced to cancel the card.
Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: “Limerick cancelled on Thursday, March 10. Inside track partially waterlogged with false patches following 7.5mm rain overnight.”
The card will be now be rescheduled to Friday with Limerick also due to race on Saturday this week.
