Kidd Malibu looks the best bet on this afternoon’s Fairyhouse card in the maiden at 3.35.
He finished in mid-division on debut at Cork last season but then improved for the better ground and experience last time out at Navan when a neck runner-up to New Classicism in a big field maiden.
Lustrous Light was only a neck away in third but there were some sizeable margins back to the rest and Lustrous Light came out next time to win himself and the fourth from that race, Cockatoo Island, has also won subsequently.
It would be disappointing if Kidd Malibu didn’t prove strong enough to beat Flying Fairies who has some good placed efforts to her name but hasn’t faced ground as fast as this.
