FLAG FLIES HIGH AT NAAS: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the closing maiden on Wednesday’s card at Naas.
Flag Of Honour has been well-backed in the BETDAQ market today ahead of the seven furlong maiden at Naas this afternoon and should improve significantly from his debut run here last month when ninth of 15.
It seemed to take a while for the penny to drop on debut and he was denied a clear run but it seems highly likely that the Galileo colt will leave that form well behind.
Aidan O’Brien also runs two debutants in the race Conclusion and Kenya but on testing ground the vote is definitely given to the one with experience.
The Jim Bolger trained Impactful made a good debut at Leopardstown but didn’t seem to improve for the softer ground and longer trip at Galway – both factors which apply again today.
