LISTED ACTION AT NAAS: The Dark Angel E.B.F. Stakes at 7.25pm is the feature race on the Naas card tonight and SHAMROCK takes on the market leader.
The Listed Dark Angel E.B.F. Stakes at 7.25 has attracted an interesting 10 runner field and it’s the Edward Lynam trained Fort Del Oro topping the BETDAQ market.
She’s hard to beat in Listed level – winning her last two races at this level – over the five furlong course here and over tonight’s six furlongs at the Curragh.
She has been stepped up to Group company for her most recent races. Even allowing for the fact it was a Group 2 she was disappointing in May when finishing last of the seven runners and then most recently ran much better when finishing second to Divine in a Group 3.
There might be some value in opposing her tonight though with the three-year-old Most Beautiful who is a Group 3 winner herself over this trip and also ran well over seven furlongs at Fairyhouse last time when a head second to Queen Catrine (pair finished five lengths clear).
Three-year-olds have a good record in this race and she can make the most of her weight allowance against the favourite.
