8 OUT OF 12 NAPS: SHAMROCK made it EIGHT WINNING NAPS FROM HIS LAST 12 following the success of Shattered Love (WON 4/6) on Tuesday.
Now 8 out of 12 winning naps following the success of Shattered Love who made a winning hurdling debut in the opener at Tipperary yesterday.
Today’s nap is Vigil in the 3.05 at Navan – a maiden on the flat over two miles and a bumper in all but name.
The majority of the field bring jumps form to the table and I think Vigil has an outstanding chance for trainer Dermot Weld.
He is a three times winner under jumps rules and has proved his class with three successive good runs at the Cheltenham Festival:
2014 5th in the Champion Bumper
2015 5th in the Champion Bumper
2016 6th in the Neptune Hurdle
He is obviously being readied for the jumps season but should take this en-route. Weld won this in 2014 with Silver Concorde.
