NAVAN NAP: SHAMROCK saves his best bet of the day for the closing maiden on the Navan card this afternoon.

Vigil is taken to build on his flat debut here earlier in the month when he finished second (at 4/9) to She’s A Star.
Vigil is much better known for his exploits under National Hunt rules and has plenty of class as he proved by finishing fifth in successive Cheltenham Champion Bumpers.
He is also a winner over hurdles and finished sixth to Yorkhill in the Neptune earlier this year.
He steps back a bit in trip this afternoon but is generally happy to race prominently and will hopefully quickly build up a winning lead.
The filly Chocolat Noir was second over 1m 2f here last time out and should be suited by the step up in trip today.
