15/8 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed his nap and only bet of the day on Tuesday when HOME BY THE LEE won the final race at Roscommon at 15/8.
A nice winning nap yesterday which was worth the wait in the final race at Roscommon. The Joseph O’Brien trained Home By The Lee stayed on bravely to make it two wins from two runs in the bumper.
The formula could strike again tonight, as Joseph O’Brien looks to have a good chance in the closing Ladbrokes Download The Grid App Flat Race – the 8.40 at Punchestown.
He has finished third in both starts to date and there looks to be further improvement to come but he might be vulnerable to the Gordon Elliott trained Gun Merchant whose form is just preferred.
He chased home Rocket Lad at Tramore on his Rules debut 12 days ago, finishing nicely clear of the third, and now has the more experienced Lisa O’Neill in the saddle.
