Brilliant win from the nap Caravaggio in the Coventry Stakes yesterday and he really does look straight out the top drawer. It would have been a six length win if he’d kept a straight path too !!
It looks much tougher for the Irish challengers today with no stand out chances.
Roly Poly represents Aidan O’Brien in the Queen Mary but she was a disappointing for me at the Curragh when only fourth and seemingly having her limitations exposed at Listed level. Over similar ground and the same distance I think she may struggle to make the frame.
Found is a top class filly as she proved last season when winning the Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf at Keeneland but she has Japanese wonder horse A Shin Hikari to cope with in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at 4.20 and may come up second best.
For the nap I like the look of Emma Beag at Wexford. She was a revelation at Clonmel when a close second to Sarah Joyce.
She hadn’t shown much prior to that run and went off a 25/1 chance.
She should be even better suited by the three mile trip tonight.
