MATCH OVERVIEW:
It’s a massive weekend in the Caribbean Premier League and this game is huge! We should have a cracking Saturday night game with plenty of drama. These two are sitting at the bottom of the table with St Kitts only recording one win from five and Jamaica two. Depening on what happens between Barbados and Trinbago earlier on, this is a huge opportunity for both sides.
If Barbados lose and Jamaica win, they shoot into third while if St Kitts win they could put themselves in the mix locked on four points with Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica. A lot to play for! The late games have looked very difficult for batting and the Jamaica big hitters have really struggled. Russell didn’t play the last game for Jamaica and they really missed him – the team news is huge for this one and will move the market.
WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:
The late games have recorded first innings scores of 112/7, 148/7 and 108/9. In the game with the 148, Barbados won by 36 runs – that actually involved Jamaica too as they were badly beaten. You can expect batting to be very tough and anything over 130 looks very tough to score.
The main problem has been that batting is so tough that the team batting first as fallen short when aiming too high. It’s a wicket to (try!) and get in on and slowly put an innings together. Easier said than done when the wicket is doing so much.
RECOMMENDED BET:
St Kitts aren’t a side I like and with only one win from five games, they aren’t a side to make money on! I feel they are good value here though, and I can’t resist a small bet on them at 2.26 from a value point of view. I fully take on board that they have been poor, but so have Jamaica. They have recorded plenty of low scores and really struggled with the ball in hand too. Russell is clearly their key man, and you get the feeling that if he doesn’t play well then they don’t win. The tough batting conditions have been a major issue for the Jamaica big hitters, and I really feel this is a 50/50 game and you’re getting good value on St Kitts at 2.26.
The Edge Says:
One point win St Kitts & Nevis Patriots to beat Jamaica Tallawahs at 2.26 with BETDAQ Exchange.

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:
First thing that you should be doing is checking the team news here to see if Russell plays for the Tallawahs. Without him they are in big trouble and that will see their odds drift quite a bit before the start.
After that, it’s hard to see anything other than a low scoring game here given the conditions we have had and you’d have to base your trading around that. A wicket is never far away and you don’t want to be on the batting side for long. Backing the bowling side in the first innings are proven profitable here apart from the Jamaica game when they conceded the biggest night score.
