MATCH OVERVIEW:

Pakistan only have one match remaining to leave England with a win as we have the last T20 on Tuesday in Manchester. After waiting a while after rain interrupted three games in a row, we finally saw some excellent cricket at the weekend. We had a cracker, with Pakistan scoring 195/4 and England chasing it down. Eoin Morgan was the star with 66 runs from 33 balls, while Bairstow chipped in too.

Pakistan played well, especially with the bat, and although England won with an over to spare I still feel that there isn’t much between the sides. The market has actually pushed Pakistan out in price since. They started the 2nd T20 2.42 and are now 2.66. I still feel it’s worth backing them as that price represents very good value. They traded down to the 1.2’s in-running on Sunday, and as I noted we were bound to have plenty of flip flops. I feel we’ll have the same on Tuesday evening!

WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:

The good news is we look set fair for another game here with no weather worries. There’s only a 3% chance of rain at the moment and even if we get a little, it won’t impact the game. It won’t be enough to lose overs.

The pitch played very well on Sunday and was excellent for batting. You’d have to expect a pretty good wicket again here, although with the later start time and under lights I would expect the scores to come down a little.

RECOMMENDED BET:

Once again from a value point of view I like the Pakistan option here at 2.66. I haven’t seen anything to make me think that these T20’s shouldn’t be 50/50. I feel the sides are very closely matched and it’s down to who plays the better cricket on the day. On Sunday, Pakistan batted superbly and traded 1.25 in-running. Then Morgan took the game away from them with an excellent display. Even at the start of his innings Pakistan were bouncing between 1.4 and 1.5. I feel the value is worth Pakistan again in what should be another excellent and close game.

The Edge Says:
One point win Pakistan to beat England at 2.66 with BETDAQ Exchange.

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:

From a starting point of view, I think Pakistan will trade odds on at some point again. Their top order is very impressive and they played well on Sunday. I can see them getting a decent score again. Perhaps it would be easier for them to chase down a score looking at the game on Sunday. England’s bowling line-up is obviously not their best with some of their stars missing and that can only suit Pakistan. Of course from a match winning point of view England still have some of their big names batting so they can take the game away from Pakistan; but if the likes of Morgan and Bairstow don’t fire then Pakistan have an excellent chance of winning.

The Pakistan price at 2.66 is probably a better trade than outright bet given the prices they have traded at during the series. However, they have also lost while trading short from winning positions and that has to be a trading angle too in-play. I would be interesting in laying Pakistan if they batted first and got a decent score to be with the England batting – but I wouldn’t fancy being on the young England bowling line-up under pressure.
