India v Bangladesh 2nd T20

MATCH OVERVIEW:

India and Bangladesh continue their T20 series on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as the sides move to Delhi on Wednesday. Bangladesh are definitely in need of something good happening at the moment; it looked like the 2nd Test was heading to a draw after rain but they fell in a heap under pressure for 146 all out on the final day. That gave India a 2-0 Test series win, and although that would have been expected, given the way Bangladesh lost the 2nd Test it would have been a blow. Then they got absolutely hammered on Sunday in the 1st T20 – 127 all out which was chased down in just 11.5 overs.

Bangladesh must be wondering what they have to do to win a game. The reality is how much below their usual level do India have to be to make Bangladesh very competitive? India could bring in three of four star players and make their starting XI even stronger to be honest; it just goes to show what a huge pool of talent India have coming through. That’s definitely been all the years of young kids watching the IPL and now we are starting to see the national team reap the rewards. Only England can have a red ball and white squad at the same time; and it wouldn’t be close to the quality India have to be honest without some crossover.

From an Indian point of view, they just need to keep ticking their boxes. As I said above, Bangladesh desperately need something to go their way from somewhere. The thing is though; it’s exceptionally difficult to beat India in India – this could be another long (or short depending on how you look at it!) day for Bangladesh.

WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:

Delhi is a superb place to play white ball cricket. We should have good batting conditions too – obviously we had a very high scoring IPL this year but the scores here were; 266/7 (won), 224/4 (won), 257/4 (won), 221/8 (won) and 208/4 (won). I’m not sure we’ve ever seen a tournament where the all the home games had 200+ scored to be honest. In International cricket, South Africa played here in 2022, India posted 211/4 but it was chased down with five balls to spare. Obviously we might see a range of scores depending on who bats first, but we can expect good scoring conditions.

RECOMMENDED BET:

It’s no surprise to see India as the red-hot favourites here. They have all the momentum in this tour at the moment after what happened in the Test and then the opening T20. Bangladesh could be one of those touring sides that just want to get home after those crushing defeats – we’ve all seen that before! India are trading as short as 1.15 at the time of writing – there’s no prizes for tipping favourites that short, but I cannot see anything other than an Indian win here. My position would be to back them if they hit 1.25 in-running at some point.

The Edge Says:
Three points win India to beat Bangladesh IF they hit 1.25 in-running with Betdaq Exchange

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:

I feel the in-running strategy for this game will revolve around trying to get a decent price on India at some stage. We will have very good scoring conditions – every IPL game here this season saw 200+ posted so hopefully Bangladesh might bat first and make the most of conditions. One wonders what they would have to score to trouble India, but the market might be a little trigger happy on pushing India out if we see a few early boundaries. If India bat first however, you would be surprised to see a 1.01 train and a huge score posted.
