LEEDS V NOTTINGHAM FOREST

8pm We have a Friday Night Football to enjoy from the Premier League on Betdaq Betting Exchange as Leeds host Nottingham Forest! This is a huge game for both sides as they both sit six points away from the relegation zone, and it will likely decide who finishes the season slightly under pressure and who can relax a little. I would still be surprised if West Ham caught either of them to be honest, but recent back-to-back wins have given the Hammers some hope. This should be a tight game between two sides with very similar performance levels this season.

Leeds come into the game as the favourites at 2.28 with Nottingham Forest 3.6 and the draw is 3.4 at the time of writing. There’s very little to separate them on under-lining numbers, you can understand why Leeds are the favourites with home advantage. The reality is both sides have been playing better than their results suggest and they should be higher in the table. Leeds have been creating chance at a solid mid-table level with an average xG created of 1.38. That puts them 11th in the attacking figures for the Premier League, Nottingham Forest are just above them – only by 1.39. Ironically from a Nottingham Forest point of view, they are creating more this season compared to last season when they got European football!

That over-performance has caused huge problems this season with the owner getting very trigger happy based on bigger expectations. Both sides have been quite average at the back – Nottingham Forest have an average xG conceded of 1.46 and Leeds have only been 0.05 better at 1.41. Not exactly the figures you want to see, but equally they aren’t relegation standard and we will be including the loser in the relegation battle based on this result. Given both sides are conceding so many chances, I feel this game screams goals and I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market – I would consider laying Leeds at 2.28 just because I feel the game will be closer than those odds suggest, but Forest have obviously struggled getting over the line in games this season.

Over 2.5 goals is trading 2.16 which I was very surprised to see when I clicked into the market, and Both Teams To Score is 1.92. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet but the Over 2.5 goals bet looks cracking value at 2.16. Both defences have been sloppy, and they are both creating a decent level of chances too – it’s hard to have huge confidence in either side when they’ve both been so inconsistent. This is definitely a game for small stakes in my opinion, but the Overs jumps off the page – I’m just not going crazy with the stakes.

The Striker Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.16 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
