LEICESTER V BRENTFORD

8pm We have Friday Night Football from the Premier League on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE this week! We had a hectic week with Champions League and Europa League action, along with a midweek Premier League fixture too – this is arguably the best part of the season given there’s no International Break for a long time. The start of the season felt broken up too much with an International Break every month. Leicester host Brentford and while this might not be the most glamorous fixture this weekend, we do have a very interesting market.

Leicester are clearly struggling this season, and they are long odds on to be heading back down to the Championship. They desperately need something good to happen with nine losses from their last ten Premier League games. They have a tricky fixture list coming up in the next few weeks too; they meet Chelsea and Manchester City – both away from home and although they are “only” two points behind Wolves at the moment, they do need a few surprise results along the way to close that gap. This fixture would obviously be a good place to start! Leicester have been poor at home this season though; only nine points from 13 home games is relegation standard.

It’s actually no surprise that the four sides with the worst records at home this season and the four sides involved in the relegation battle. Brentford come into the game as the favourites, but they aren’t trading odds on. Brentford are 2.08 with Leicester 3.65 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. It’s not a surprise that Brentford aren’t odds on here to be honest even allowing for how poor Leicester have been because they have been conceding so many chances this season. Brentford have an average xG conceded of 1.88 which is exceptionally high – that’s the joint-worst defensive figure along with Southampton this season.

Leicester aren’t too far behind Brentford with their defensive figure – their average xG conceded is very high too at 1.78. The major difference between the sides is their attacking figures – Leicester have an average xG created of 1.11 while for Brentford it’s 1.43. The reality here is it’s hard to have a lot of faith in either side, and the 2.08 on Brentford doesn’t make too much appeal even allowing for how poor Leicester have been. This game absolutely screams goals in my opinion with both sides being so poor at the back, and Over 2.5 goals looks a cracking bet at 1.63. I feel we’re getting so much value at 1.63 that it’s worth a Five Star NAP to kick off the Premier League weekend!

The Striker Says:
Five points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.63 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
