NEWCASTLE V ASTON VILLA
8pm We have Friday Night Football in the Premier League this week as Newcastle host Aston Villa! We have a cracking weekend ahead in the Premier League with all football bets 0% Commission tomorrow ahead of a huge week with 0% Commission for the Cheltenham Festival! Newcastle come into this game under massive pressure now Fulham managed to beat Liverpool last weekend. Fulham have had good momentum recently but that win was certainly unexpected despite Liverpool’s poor form. This means now Newcastle start this fixture just one point ahead of Fulham, and although Brighton have the same amount of points as Fulham – they have been playing excellent football. That being said, Brighton playing excellent football and losing is becoming a meme at this point.
Newcastle were pretty poor away to West Brom last weekend, I landed a West Brom lay because I thought they were very short however that was a lucky bet to land as Newcastle were poor. xG finished 1.87 to 0.70 to West Brom. That’s a worry because West Brom have been very poor this season. Villa have had a very up and down season with no real winning or losing runs. They played great football against Sheffield United and were desperately unlucky to lose 1-0, and then they were lucky to draw 0-0 with Wolves after conceding an xG of 2.0.
Of course over the longer-term Aston Villa have been much better than Newcastle and they appeal at 2.08 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange here. I take on board that Villa have been inconsistent of late but on balance I feel they should be odds on here against a poor Newcastle side. This is actually a massive game for Newcastle given the recent run of Fulham. If they were to win it would be an excellent time because Fulham have to play Man City at the weekend, but I just can’t see Newcastle playing well enough to beat this Villa side. Villa have been excellent going forward this season and given the amount of chances Newcastle usually give up; Villa should get the job done.
The Striker Says:
Two points win Aston Villa to beat Newcastle at 2.08 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
