WEST HAM V WATFORD

8pm What a massive game for both sides, and an excellent choice for Friday night football! Both sides have a little bit of comfort, so it’s not exactly do or die but a win for either would see them safe. Bournemouth lost to City midweek, as you would expect, so it’s highly unlikely that West Ham and Watford will go down, but if there is to be a loser then they will be in trouble as we head into the final fixtures.

Both sides are fighting for their lives and come into the game off the back of wins. West Ham put Norwich to the sword at the weekend with a smooth 4-0 win, while Watford have won their last two fixtures 2-1 against Newcastle and Norwich. You’d have to say that those wins were reasonably expected, and tonight is crunch time.

Watford only scored twice against Newcastle, but they battered them. They created an xG of 3.42, however this must come with a question mark because Newcastle at bottom of the table on xG – they’ve been consistently giving up a host of chances all season. West Ham have been recording pretty impressive numbers lately and they are worth backing at 2.44 here.

In their last four fixtures they have had xG’s of 4.0, 2.14, 2.33 and 2.38. They have only won two of those games, but they should have won all four. They are in superb form coming into this clash and although Watford will have confidence from beating Newcastle and Norwich – if the game goes to xG form then The Hammers will win and stay in the Premier League for another season.

The Striker Says:
Two points win West Ham to beat Watford at 2.44 with BETDAQ Exchange.
