PREMIER LEAGUE: The Striker previews BOURNEMOUTH v WEST HAM with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BOURNEMOUTH V WEST HAM
8pm We have Monday Night Football from the Premier League on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as Bournemouth host West Ham! This will be the second Monday night fixture in a row for West Ham, and they’ll be hoping for a similar result as they beat Wolves 2-1 last weekend. Julen Lopetegui went into that match under immense pressure – indeed both managers did – and although the Hammers came out on top, once you start hearing “he has X amount of games to save his job” that generally only goes one way in the end.
Last week they had home advantage against one of the sides playing very poorly in the Premier League this season; this week it’s a much tougher test. Bournemouth come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.76 with West Ham 4.8 and the draw is 4.3 at the time of writing. Bournemouth are having an excellent season so far; they came into this matchday sitting in eighth place, and they actually have the fifth highest attacking figure in the Premier League this season. Their average xG created at 1.62 is an impressive figure given the standard required in the Premier League these days.
For example, they attacking figure is marginally better than Arsenal – much better than the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle. Bournemouth have been doing very well this season, and there’s no doubt that the 1.76 will be a popular bet here against a struggling West Ham side. West Ham haven’t been too bad going forward – but their issues remain to be at the back. They haven’t been as bad as last season, but their average xG conceded is still high at 1.62. Not only that, they have also been sloppy; conceding more goals than they should.
Bournemouth generally play a very open game, but they have been pretty good at the back this season. Last week we landed a bet of Over 2.5 goals on Monday Night Football involving West Ham just because I expected so many mistakes at the back. Bournemouth are clearly playing better football however, and I do feel that the home win at 1.76 offers more value than Over 2.5 goals at 1.55. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a high scoring game; I think it’ll be pretty open and with the volume of chances West Ham concede, Bournemouth will out score them.
The Striker Says:
Three points win Bournemouth to beat West Ham at 1.76 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
