FULHAM V WOLVES

8pm Monday Night Football from the Premier League on BETDAQ Betting Exchange sees Fulham host Wolves. While this isn’t the most glamorous fixture, we do have an interesting market. We have a very open betting heat, but Fulham come into the game as the favourites at 2.52 while Wolves are 3.1 with the draw trading 3.45 at the time of writing. Both sides have been playing average football this season, but they have been good enough to not worry about the relegation fight; they will finish safely in the bottom half of mid-table.

Ironically, they actually have the exact same overall performance level coming into this clash. They both have an overall performance level figure of -0.43! Obviously having the same overall figure means they have very similar figures attacking and defence. Wolves are marginally creating more chances at an average xG of 1.13 while Fulham come in at 1.11. They are both poor figures to be honest – only four clubs have worse figures – Sheffield United, Luton Town, Burnley and Nottingham Forest. Three of the four are odds on to get relegated. They’ve both been poor at the back too – Wolves have conceded an average xG of 1.56 while for Fulham it’s 1.54.

Not the worst figures at the back, but again hanging around the bottom six while is in line with their overall performance level and likely where they will finish this season really. Fulham have actually struggled to convert their chances while Wolves have scored above their chances created which gives them an extra three points in the table. It’s easy to see why we have a very open market here, it’s hard to have a lot of confidence in either side to be honest. In the match odds market, the draw would make the most appeal to me at 3.45.

Both sides have been creating very little, so Under 2.5 goals definitely makes appeal at 1.83. Both Teams Not To Score is also an option at 2.01. I marginally prefer Under 2.5 goals at 1.83 though – obviously I fully accept both sides have been leaking chances this season, but the reality here is will they be good enough to take advantage? Both are clearly limited going forward. This record is going back a few years because Fulham were in the Championship for a while, but Under 2.5 goals has won in the last eight meetings between the sides – that goes back to 2017 by the way. I expect another cagey affair, just like the two fixtures last season which included a 0-0. I’d be surprised if we saw a lot of goal drama here!

The Striker Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.83 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
