PREMIER LEAGUE MONDAY: The Striker previews MANCHESTER UNITED v BOURNEMOUTH with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
MANCHESTER UNITED V BOURNEMOUTH
8pm We have Monday Night Football to enjoy from the Premier League on Betdaq Betting Exchange, and it’s a cracker too as Manchester United host Bournemouth! It’s another Monday Night Football fixture involving Manchester United and drama is never far away. Once again we’ve seen them have a rollercoaster lately. Couldn’t beat a ten man Everton side here, won away to Crystal Palace as outsiders, then couldn’t beat West Ham here. They won away to Wolves last Monday night, but obviously Wolves have been having an awful season.
We basically have the same question here coming into this game; a fixture on paper that United should win but what type of performance can we expect? It’s really been a case of United not winning games they should lately. However, only one loss in their last nine Premier League games is a good stat – are times turning under Ruben Amorim? The under-lining numbers really back that up. They come into this matchday with the best attacking figure in the Premier League – stop the press, it’s been a while since we’ve said that about Manchester Untied!
They are still a little sloppy at the back, mistakes are never far away and of course we have to live the debate about the system weekly – almost daily – but there’s lots to be positive about with this United squad. They come into this game as the odds on favourites at 1.87 with Bournemouth 4.2 and the draw is also 4.2 at the time of writing. Bournemouth games have been very entertaining to watch this season, but they’ve struggled to get a win lately. They are on a run of six Premier League without a win, and they’ve conceded quite a few goals too. They’ve managed two draws with home advantage, but they’ve conceded ten goals in their last three away games. They’ve actually conceded 15 goals in their last five away games.
With United creating so much and Bournemouth conceding so much, the 1.87 on the United win makes a lot of appeal. Obviously backing United these days has to come with the standard wealth warning – they are able to throw in a woeful performance from nowhere – but confidence must be reasonably high in the camp. They are also benefitting from not having midweek European football. The main criticism of Amorim’s system lately has been United can’t break through when sides sit back. That’s not really Bournemouth’s style so this fixture should suit United. Another option has to be Over 2.5 goals at 1.6 – I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest but I feel there’s more value in the United price.
The Striker Says:
Three points win Manchester United to beat Bournemouth at 1.87 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
