LEICESTER V FULHAM
5.30pm We have two cracking fixtures for Monday Night Football this week and we start with Leicester hosting Fulham. After a disappointing week for Leicester, this is a nice fixture for them to get back to winning ways. Fulham have been poor this season, and have gone back to losing since getting their first win against a poor West Brom side. The positive for Fulham fans is they are starting to create more chances – their last two xG’s have been 1.90 and 1.89. They were unlucky to lose against Everton after missing a penalty, and while the sides are that they are slightly moving in the right direction; they still have a long way to go.
Leicester have been impressive this season, but were rightly put in their place last weekend against Liverpool. The same happened last season, when Leicester where viewed before Christmas as the challengers to Liverpool with City off the pace. Leicester just aren’t in the same bracket as Liverpool so I’m happy to overlook that loss and focus on how good they were beforehand. For me this should be a straightforward home win and I’m happy to back Leicester at 1.56 – Fulham have been very poor this season.

WEST HAM V ASTON VILLA
8pm We end the evening with West Ham hosting Aston Villa and we have a pretty open market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. West Ham are currently trading 2.4 and that looks good value to me. They have impressed me a lot this season, but Villa must be respected here as they have been pretty good this season. They have lost a few of their recent fixtures but you only have to look at their xG numbers to see that they are playing good football. In their last four games they have recorded xG figures of 2.17, 1.94, 2.52 and 1.45. They have lost three of those four games though!
West Ham have been rock solid this season, and we landed a nice bet with them to beat Fulham recently and then they followed that up with a nice win against Sheffield United too. They have been recording impressive xG figures for most of the season and when you create that many chances – you win a lot of games. As I said, I respect Villa so I will adjust my stakes a little lower but I do like West Ham here at the odds. 2.4 looks ten ticks too big to me.
