PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: The Striker previews TOTTENHAM v MANCHESTER UNITED, SUNDERLAND v ARSENAL and CHELSEA v WOLVES all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
TOTTENHAM V MANCHESTER UNITED
12.30pm We have another wonderful Saturday from the Premier League on Betdaq Betting Exchange! This is the last weekend to enjoy before we head into the next International Break, which does come far too quickly again. We kick off the day with the highlight fixture of Saturday as Spurs host Manchester United. Ruben Amorim is one man who won’t enjoy the International Break coming up; his side have finally built some momentum – they are playing good football with confidence. They broke their run of three straight wins with a 2-2 draw away to Nottingham Forest last weekend, but as Amorim said they basically just switched off for five minutes and the damage was done. Spurs had a very disappointing loss last weekend here against Chelsea, but they bounced back with a confidence boosting 4-0 win midweek in the Champions League – that was “only” against Copenhagen though, and there are some major worries with their performance levels in the Premier League this season. This should be an absolutely fascinating game – both sides have 17 points as they sit just outside the Top Four. This fixture could easily decide which direction either of them are heading.
It’s no surprise that we have an open betting heat; you couldn’t call either side reliable after all! Manchester United are favourites at 2.5 with Spurs 2.94 and the draw is 3.7 at the time of writing. I’m sure there will be some big opinions on the prices here – a lot of football fans might not have United as the favourites here but Spurs under-lining numbers have been very poor this season. They’ve done exceptionally well to get their 17 points; they only have an average xG created of 1.19 which is the third worst attacking figure in the Premier League this season. Only Burnley and Sunderland (who have also got more results than they deserve!) have created less this season. Compare that figure to United at 1.69, which is the second best attacking figure. Both sides are sloppy at the back and a mistake is never far away, so obviously Over 2.5 goals is an option here at 1.7. I would also be tempted by the United win at the odds given those Spurs under-lining numbers, but generally these two sides always bring drama and mistakes – I’m happy to be on Overs at 1.7 in what should be an entertaining game to start the weekend.

SUNDERLAND V ARSENAL
5.30pm Next we have Sunderland hosting Arsenal, and this should be a very interesting game. Sunderland fans are living the dream at the moment after their start to the season – they are massively over-performing but they won’t care! 18 points from their opening ten games has them sitting inside the Top Four which is incredible given they started the season odds on to get relegated. Of course, there are some red flags in their performance levels; they have the second worst attacking figure and the fourth worst defensive figure. So far they have massively got away with things at the back with sides only converting a little over half of the chances Sunderland have conceded this season. Arsenal are on a seriously impressive run at the moment, and it’s no surprise that they come into the game as the odds on favourites. Indeed, they are the only side away from home that are trading odds on to win in the Premier League this weekend! Arsenal are trading 1.42 with Sunderland 9.0 and the draw is 5.2 at the time of writing. You have to give Sunderland massive credit for the results they have grinded out this season, but it’s hard to see past an Arsenal win here.
Arsenal have to win the Premier League this season – make no mistake about it. They’ve put themselves in an excellent position already with Liverpool losing four games in a row, and Manchester City clearly not at their best recently. Arsenal have been very solid going forward – they have the fourth best attacking figure but what has been their most impressive area is at the back. They have an average xG conceded of 0.85 which is an exceptionally impressive figure in the Premier League with such a strong standard. I can’t see past Arsenal winning here, and the 1.42 is a big price in my opinion. Another option is Arsenal to cover the 1.5 goal handicap at 2.31 which is a nice price too. With Sunderland have such a low xG created and Arsenal so strong at the back – plus their current run of clean sheets too – Both Teams Not To Score is a nice option at 1.67 which is effectively an Arsenal clean sheet. I couldn’t put anyone off all three bets, but I do like the Arsenal win here and I’m happy with a Five Star NAP to extend their lead at the top.
The Striker Says:
Five points win Arsenal to beat Sunderland at 1.42 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

CHELSEA V WOLVES
8pm We finish a cracking Saturday with Chelsea hosting Wolves, and it’s great to have another 8pm kick off on a Saturday too – in my opinion it’s a really good TV slot. Wolves have finally decided to push the panic button and sack Vitor Pereira this week, and it’ll be interesting to see what reaction we get from the players here. Wolves have had a terrible start to the season, and with just two points from ten games they need a “new manager bounce” even before someone new comes in! They are the only side yet to win a game in the Premier League this season, and now it feels like the writing is on the wall for relegation already. They started the season trading between 5.0 and 4.5 for relegation, and now they are massively odds on. Given the situation at Wolves, everyone will be expecting a Chelsea win here. It’s no surprise that Chelsea come into the game as the red-hot favourites – the home win is trading 1.38 with Wolves 10.0 and the draw is 5.6 at the time of writing. That 1.38 is the shortest price of the weekend in the Premier League!
Anything bar a Chelsea win here would be a big surprise, to be honest I can’t see past a comfortable home win. Obviously there’s no prizes for tipping 1.38 shots, so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value here. I would happily include Chelsea in any weekend Acca though! Chelsea have been a little disappointing results wise this season, especially after winning the FIFA Club World Cup, a lot of football fans thought they would make a small challenge for the title. The win last weekend at Spurs was important, and they do have the third best attacking figure in the Premier League this season. They’ve also been pretty solid at the back; they have the third best defensive figure too. Wolves have been leaking chances and goals for fun this season, and while we might see some improvement with the manager gone, I still feel that Chelsea can cover the handicap here. They are trading 2.04 -1.5 goals and that looks a nice position to finish a wonderful Saturday!

Two points win Chelsea -1.5 goals to beat Wolves at 2.04 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
