ARSENAL V MANCHESTER UNITED

3pm The FA Cup continues on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with the highlight of the Third Round on Sunday afternoon! Arsenal host Manchester United in undoubtedly the highlight of the Third Round. Arsenal have been struggling in the Premier League this season and we all know the problems that Manchester United have been having – a good cup would be a welcome distraction for both sides to be honest. Ruben Amorim has spoken really well as Manchester United manager, but an exit here along with mid-table in the Premier League, out of the Carabao Cup and unlikely to have success in Europe makes it a poor season for United fans.

United are closer to the relegation zone than the European spots this season; but the club needs a total reset. Amorim seems to be the man to deliver that; he just needs to fans to stay behind him through a very tough season ahead. Essentially, this United squad just isn’t good enough – they did produce a brilliant performance last weekend at Anfield but we know we don’t see those type of performances very often from United. It’s frustrating that the players can turn up for certain games and not others; something quite rightly pointed out by Amorim post match. When you see him making remarks like that, you know he’s the right man for the job.

It’ll be interesting to see what type of performance United deliver here. This is another big game against a top side – usually the type of games that this United squad has turned up for. Even with that being said, it’s not a surprise to see Arsenal trading as the odds on favourites at 1.77 with Manchester United 5.2 and the draw is 4.0 at the time of writing. Arsenal have been playing much better football this season; they have a better attacking figure and a better defensive figure. Arteta has faced some criticism for “turning into Mourinho” when leading. Arsenal have definitely created less this season, but they still have the best defensive figure – although they were conceding more chances at the start of the season.

Looking at the United stats, they are under-performing in front of goal and at the back. They have just been sloppy in general. United games have been entertaining in general this season; mainly because they have been so all over the place at the back. The Over/Under 2.5 goals market is very even with Overs the marginal favourite at 1.94. I know we might see some changes here given the way clubs view the FA Cup these days, but this is a massive game for both sides so I can’t see too many. I expect an open game and we know United will make mistakes at the back too; I’m happy to be on Overs.

The Striker Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.94 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
