MANCHESTER UNITED V LEICESTER

2pm We have a fantastic Super Sunday this week on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! All eyes will be on Chelsea hosting Arsenal in the latest London Derby, especially with Arsenal on a difficult run at the moment! We have three games kicking off at 2pm, and Manchester United hosting Leicester looks the most interesting. We have a very open betting heat between Nottingham Forest and Newcastle, while Spurs are the red-hot favourites to beat Ipswich. United are going through a lot of changes at the moment, and although there’s a gulf in class between the sides, Leicester will fancy their chances of a surprise here. That being said, the sides met here very recently in the Carabao Cup and United hammered Leicester 5-2 in a very entertaining game. It’s not a surprise to see United come into this game as the odds on favourites – Manchester United are 1.4 with Leicester 8.2 and the draw is 6.0 at the time of writing. Leicester were always going to face a difficult challenge staying in the Premier League this season – the gap between the Premier League and Championship has grown so much in recent years with the money in the top flight.

They have been grinding out results – they have ten points from ten games which is keeping them out of the bottom three. They are still one of the three favourites to go down coming into this weekend because their stats are very poor. They have the third worst attacking figure, and the third worst defensive figure. They have been conceding a huge volume of chances with an average xG conceded of 1.82. United should get the job done here, but obviously the jury is definitely still out on this United squad – I’m happy to stay away from the match odds market because this game screams goals in my opinion. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.49 with Both Teams To Score trading 1.75. Obviously we had a very open Carabao Cup game here recently, and while we might not see the same volume of goals, I do feel these two sides will gel together very well for an entertaining game. A mistake is never far away with this United side, and Leicester are clearly conceding a lot this season. I feel the 1.49 on Overs is nearly ten ticks too big, and I’m happy with a Five Star NAP at the odds.

CHELSEA V ARSENAL

4.30pm We have a London Derby for the prime time Super Sunday TV slot this week, and it’s a cracker as Chelsea host Arsenal. This should be a fascinating game – Chelsea have been better than expected this season after all their drama during the summer, while Arsenal are in a little bit of a crisis at the moment. Two losses and a draw from their last three Premier League games leaves them seven points behind Liverpool coming into this weekend – I just don’t see them closing that gap, even though it’s still a long season ahead of us. Another loss midweek in the Champions League just adds to the pressure. I know Arsenal fans have been very quick to blame referee decisions and basically just everything that they can find when they drop points. However, the reality is they are conceding more chances this season, and that’s getting them into trouble. Last season they had the best defensive figure with an average xG conceded of just 0.92 – this season their figure is 1.36 which is basically a mid-table defensive figure. When you consider how much criticism Erik ten Hag was getting at Manchester United this season, and that they were “all over the place with no system,” Manchester United have actually conceded less chances this season. Their average xG conceded is only 1.28.

Those figures are very marginal I know, but when we’re talking about Arsenal being title challengers, they aren’t playing like it. We have an exceptionally open betting heat here, with Arsenal coming into the game as the favourites. Arsenal are trading 2.64 with Chelsea 2.94 and the draw is 3.5 at the time of writing. I’ve highlighted that Arsenal have been poor at the back this season, well Chelsea are conceding more chances than Arsenal. They are also creating a little less, so I have no issue with Arsenal coming into the game as the favourites here. I do feel that we have two very evenly matched sides here, especially with Chelsea having home advantage – in my opinion the draw is a nice option at 3.5. Goals is also an option – Over 2.5 goals is 1.78 with Both Teams To Score at 1.65. I couldn’t put anyone off either of those bets, but I’m going to take a chance here with the draw at a nice price of 3.5.

One point win Draw at 3.5 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
