ARSENAL V CHELSEA

8pm We have the second legs of the Carabao Cup Semi-Finals on Betdaq Betting Exchange this week! We kick off the week on Tuesday night with the most interesting game of the week with Arsenal hosting Chelsea – Manchester City look in full control of the other final Semi-Final against Newcastle. We had a very dramatic first leg between the sides, and Arsenal take a 3-2 lead into this one. Obviously that’s a very strong position with home advantage, but Chelsea have been involved in a week of drama so they will believe that they can turn things around.

Chelsea have had quite the week; you could say it’s been almost perfect for morale under new manager Liam Rosenior. A late 3-2 win away to Napoli followed by some amazing scenes at the weekend as they came from 2-0 down against West Ham to win 3-2 in injury time. The dressing room must have been buzzing. Two fantastic moments that would bring the squad together, but if you take the emotion of things they are still conceding far too many sloppy goals. That’s been the problem for a few months to be honest, but they seem to have got things going in the right direction now. They needed that win at the weekend in the race for a Top Four finish.

Arsenal also needed their win at the weekend – they were very impressive blowing away Leeds to win 4-1. Leeds away is always a tricky fixture but Arsenal were absolutely superb. After dropping points in three straight Premier League games and Manchester City getting a little too close for comfort again, that was the perfect response from Arsenal. We should have a good game here – it will be interesting to see how Arteta approaches the game. They have the lead so will he go into it very cagey? That has been the major criticism this season, however Arsenal have been exceptional at the back. Their average xG conceded is only 0.87 which is the most impressive defensive figure from all of Europe’s elite leagues, never mind just the Premier League.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Arsenal come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.72 with Chelsea 5.1 and the draw is 4.3 at the time of writing. The way Chelsea are playing at the moment, it’s hard not to see goals here. They have to chase the game, and I feel that will open things up regardless of Arteta’s tactics. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.77 and Both Teams To Score is two ticks bigger at 1.79. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet, but the Both Teams To Score option offers the best value in my opinion. That bet has landed in the two previous meetings between the sides this season, and Arsenal have been leaking a few goals recently. I feel we’ll get another entertaining game here.

The Striker Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.79 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
