TOTTENHAM V MANCHESTER CITY

7.30pm The midweek Premier League action continues on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with a cracking Wednesday night! We had a very dramatic weekend – all the talk heading into the weekend was Liverpool opening the door in the title race. Cue Arsenal losing at home to West Ham on Saturday followed by Liverpool winning away to Manchester City on Sunday meant the door was firmly closed in the title race! We have four fixtures kicking off at 7-30pm, and there’s no doubt what the highlight fixture is as Spurs host Manchester City. With both sides being so sloppy at the back this season, we’re bound to have an entertaining game here! Manchester City come into the game as the favourites at 2.06 with Spurs 3.5 and the draw is 4.2 at the time of writing. You could say Spurs come into this game in the best place they’ve been all season – it’s the first time they’ve put three wins together in the Premier League! Ange Postecoglou has been tearing his hair out at times this season, something “Spursy” is seemingly never far away – the most worrying thing though is their average xG conceded has been steadily increasing each week.

City have also been poor at the back. Manchester United have been the laughing stock of Manchester for a while now, but City have actually conceded the same amount of goals as United this season. You could easily describe these two sides as being too easy to play through at times this season – they’ve also collapsed from winning positions far too many times too. That’s something we’re used to seeing with Spurs, but this time it’s the first time we’ve had this from Pep Guardiola’s City. I have to say the 2.06 doesn’t jump off the page as good value on City here, but I don’t want to lay them either because it’s hard to have confidence in Spurs. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here, and in my opinion this game absolutely screams goals. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.37 so it’s fair to say the market is expecting goals here! Both Teams To Score is only three ticks bigger at 1.4 – I’m happy with a position on Over 3.5 goals at 1.91 in what should be a very open and entertaining game with plenty of mistakes at the back.

The Striker Says:
Two points win Over 3.5 goals at 1.91 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

LIVERPOOL V NEWCASTLE

8.15pm We finish Wednesday night with Liverpool hosting Newcastle, and this should be an entertaining game. These two sides had a very good Super Sunday with Newcastle beating Nottingham Forest and Liverpool beating Manchester City. As I said above, that win for Liverpool along with Arsenal fluffing their lines when losing to West Ham on Saturday slammed the door shut on the title race. The win for Newcastle was a massive boost to their Top Four chances, another loss for Manchester City helped a lot along with Chelsea losing again. Everyone is expecting Nottingham Forest to drop out of the Top Four as the season goes on, they are also expecting Manchester City to take a spot so the aim for Newcastle will be to beat Chelsea really. Obviously this is the most difficult fixture possible in the Premier League at the moment, so Newcastle have a massive task ahead. As you would expect, Liverpool come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.55 with Newcastle 6.2 and the draw is 5.1 at the time of writing. Arne Slot has Liverpool played some superb football this season so it’s hard to see past the home win here.

Liverpool are miles ahead of Newcastle on the stats. Their average xG created is 1.89 compared to Newcastle at 1.51. Liverpool have also been better at the back – their average xG conceded is 1.22 and they’ve conceded less than one goal per game on average this season. Newcastle have a pretty high average xG conceded at 1.51 and so far this season they have been getting away with that – sides haven’t been taking their chances against them. This should be a very open and entertaining game; Newcastle generally have goals in their games! Over 2.5 goals has landed in Newcastle’s last seven Premier League games – indeed the Over 2.5 goals bet has only lost once in their last 13 Premier League games. Overs is trading 1.48 so it is a little shorter than the Liverpool win option, however I do feel it offers far more value. It’s very hard to see past goals here, and I feel we’re getting so much value at 1.48 that it’s worth a Five Star NAP!

Five points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.48 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
