SCOTLAND V BELARUS

5pm The World Cup Qualifiers continue on Sunday, and Scotland v Belarus is the focus with 0% Commission on Betdaq Betting Exchange! Scotland have found themselves in a superb position in Group C as they sit level on points with Denmark who top the Group on goal difference. The general feeling when the draw was made was that Denmark would top this Group, and then Scotland Greece would battle it out for second place and thus the playoff route. From that point of view, things couldn’t be going any better for Scotland.

They started the Group with a 0-0 draw away to Denmark – obviously taking any points off Denmark is massive – but they followed that up with a huge 3-1 win over Greece here on Thursday night. They went 1-0 down around the 60th minute mark but quickly bounced back to level, and then found two goals in the last ten minutes. Hampden Park was rocking; to be honest Scotland have been excellent at home for a while now. It was nice to land the Greece lay!

This is a game that Scotland will be fully expected to win now; Belarus have been the whipping boys of Group C as expected, and basically Scotland simply cannot afford to slip up in a fixture like this after doing all the hard work. The market has them as the red-hot favourites – Scotland are trading as short as 1.15 with Belarus 25.0 and the draw is 9.6 at the time of writing. It’s fair to say the market is expecting a comfortable home win here! Scotland could find themselves in a very strong position by the end of the game too, with Denmark at home to Greece and odds on to win. If things go how the betting markets expect, Scotland could be seven points ahead of Greece with only two Matchdays left.

They have a very tough finish – away to Greece and then here against Denmark, it would be nice to lock in that playoff spot. With Scotland trading so short in the match odds market, we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value. I can’t see past the Scotland win – no prizes for that – so it’ll be a case of how many goals can Scotland score rather than will they win. They already beat Belarus 2-0 away from home while Greece won 5-1 with home advantage and Denmark put six past them away from home. Scotland are trading 1.45 to cover a 1.5 goal handicap, and 2.1 to cover the 2.5 goal handicap. Given the amount of goals Belarus have been conceding and how good Scotland have been at home, I like the 2.5 goal handicap option at the odds.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Scotland -2.5 goals to beat Belarus at 2.1 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
