BUNDESLIGA SUNDAY: Our new European football tipster The Ultra previews two Bundesliga games on Sunday between FC KOLN V MAINZ and UNION BERLIN V BAYERN MUNICH both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

FC KOLN V MAINZ
2.30pm The Bundesliga action continues on Sunday and we have two fixtures to focus on. We start the day with Koln hosting Mainz where I’m expecting a very close game. The league suspension was never going to be good for anyone, but it was particularly bad for Koln who had won eight of their last 11 matches. With that sort of form they could have possibly challenged for a spot in Europe although they were only sitting in 10th in the Bundesliga.
Mainz have been performing better than their results and position in the table, they are higher if you just take their xG. Clearly we might see teams slow to start this weekend and I am happy to be against Koln at 2.0 on BETDAQ Exchange. An obvious worry has been the amount of goals that Mainz have conceded away from home this season, but the behind closed doors element might work in their favour today. Koln have lost five of their 12 home games and I feel that they should be higher than 2.0 in price. I’m happy to lay the home win but it’s not a big position.

UNION BERLIN V BAYERN MUNICH
5pm While most traders will be thinking this is a case of how many Bayern will win by, I can see Union Berlin performing reasonably well here. Clearly Bayern are the dominant force in the Bundesliga – they have won 10 of their last 11 and are clear at the top of the table, but Union Berlin have been performing well in xG terms and they can score here. Perhaps that will affect the handicap market, but I prefer to go for Both Teams To Score.
Union Berlin have been very poor at the back this season, they are conceding close to two goals per game on xG however that drops to 1.6 goals at home – which is still a bad number. Bayern are expected to score over three goals away from home and while the handicap looks right at 2.5 goals, BTTS looks the value play at 2.05 with BETDAQ Sportsbook. Union have scored 18 goals in 12 home games while Bayern have conceded 15 in 11 away games. Bayern to win, but Union to score in my play and the 2.05 on BTTS looks a very good play.
